Access: Se encuentra a 30 kilómetros de San Martín de los Andes. Se accede por la Ruta Nacional Nº 234, conocida como “Ruta de los Siete lagos”, que une a esta ciudad con Villa La Angostura.
Comments: Ubicado en el Parque Nacional Lanín. Entre las montañas a la vera de la ruta, desplegándose con aguas calmas de un color azul oscuro. No se puede acceder a sus costas. Un amplio mirador permite detener el vehículo para contemplar toda la belleza del lago. Se ubica al pie de los Andes. En el lago se practican deportes acuáticos, principalmente en el verano; el turista puede navegarlo con kayaks y canoas.
Se prohíbe la navegación a motor.
